The entire tour was well managed apart from the Nepal part where we didn't like Chitwan as a destination. The service of Mr. Babu in Rajasthan and Mr. Anjan in Sikkim - Darjelling was excellent. We always felt safe in their hands. The most impressive moment of the tour was experiencing the changing colors of the Taj Mahal during sunrise and the most disliked moment was the elephant ride at Chitwan which wasn't much comfortable. Special thanks to Mr. Vikas who who went to great lengths to plan a great holiday for us and fulfilling our needs. | |

The hotels chosen for us were all good except for the Fortune hotel at Jaipurthat we found a bit boring. The drivers, the vehicle, escorts and guides were all very good. The final itinerary, the hotels, the vehicle, escorts and guides were all very impressive. Hotel at Pushkar and the car in Nepal were not that great, though. Our driver in Nepal was rather impatient & wore black sun glasses that prevented good coomunication. On a scale of 1 - 10, we give you 9 for safety and security. The Places covered were excellent esp the temples at Ranakpur and khajuraho; architecture in Rajasthan and Varanasi. The safari with long drive was disappointing. Hotels were good except for the ones at Mandawa and Pushkar - with noises, rodents and electrical problem. The driver was really good, courteous and safe. All guides were good except for the one at Jaipur. Overall, it was an excellent experience and we will all recommend Ashoka Holidays to friends. | |

Varanasi was an experience not to be missed. Fatehpur Sikri was bit unpleasant. Hotels were excellent & guides were also very good. Felt fortunate to have Babu as our driver. The hotels provided were good and really exceptional at Yuksom (Tashi Gang) and Kalimpong (Hotel Tres). All of us regretted that we could not stay for an extra day at these two places. The guides at Jodhpur (Mr. Ram) & at Jaisalmer (Mr. Mahendar) were good. But it was a hurried guided tour at Udaipur. However, we enjoyed because of Hanuman ji, the driver, who was considerate and efficient and also acted as a guide. The places he chose for eating or facilities were excellent.
