I T I N E R A R Y  


DAY 1 - Delhi
Welcome to Incredible India :  
Welcome aboard! You are picked up by our executive from the main exit of the airport and transferred to the hotel in your private coach (Our executive will be waiting outside the custom area with a placard of your name).  You will be handed over the India travel kit containing all relevant documents of your trip (air/rail tickets, hotel vouchers, transport, guide, sightseeing vouchers, writing pads with other travel related documents).

Note: The normal check in - checks out time of the hotels are 1200 hours.


DAY 2 - Delhi
A Pot pourri: New Delhi is a pot pourri of different faiths and cultures. And is thus, justifiably the capital of India, a country where so many religious beliefs exist side by side. 

We have planned for you a visit to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India; Lotus temple that belongs to Bahai faith and Akshardham. The temple complex promises a unique glimpse of the Hindu religion and Indian culture.

DAY 3 - Haridwar
Gateway to the abode of Gods: Board Shatabdi train departing at 0650 hrs. You will be received on arrival at Haridwar at 1125 hrs and dropped at the hotel. Local sight seeing for the day includes Mansadevi temple, Bharat mata temple, shivling in Kankhal region. In the evening attend the exotic Ganga aarti at ‘Har ki Paudi’.


Haridwar means the 'Gateway to the abode of the gods'. Legend has it, that Prince Bhagirath, through his penance, caused the river Ganges to come down to plains from the Himalayas so that his ancestors who had perished due to a curse of a sage could be revived.

DAY4-Haridwar>Rishikesh(24km/45min)>Haridwar
Holy Hindu City : Day is reserved for an excursion trip to Rishikesh where you visit Laxman Jhoola (a suspension bridge over river Ganges), Swarga ashram,  Parmarth Niketan and Triveni Ghat. Overnight stay at Haridwar.


DAY 5 - Amritsar
Seat of Sikh Culture : Today you board Jan Shatabdi train departing at 1435 hrs for Amritsar. On arrival at 2145 hrs you will be transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 6 - Amritsar
Near the border with Pakistan : After breakfast set out for city tour that includes Golden temple, Jalianwala Bagh and Durgiyana temple. In the evening at sun set visit Wagha  border (between India and Pakistan) to witness the retreat ceremony. Overnight at Amritsar.


DAY 7 - Amritsar > Dharamshala (199 km / 5-6 hrs)
The Little Lhasa of India: Travel by surface from Amritsar to Dharamshala. On arriving there check into the hotel. Evening is at leisure for you to soak in the Buddhist fervor of the place. Mc Leodganj (or Upper Dharamshala), a town checkered with a number of Tibetan rehabilitations and educational centers is the official residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama - spiritual leader of Tibetans. You can visit the Norbulinka Institute – an endeavour to keep alive the Tibetan arts.


DAY 8 - Dharamshala > Jammu (204 km / 6 hrs)
City of temples:
In the morning visit the Bhagsunag temple and the monasteries in the town and then drive to Jammu. Make an overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 9 - Jammu>Katra> (50km/1.5hrs)Vaishno Devi
Trek : Early morning drive to Katra from where you will begin to climb uphill (12 km trek) for the Vaishno Devi shrine. One can undertake this trek on foot or on horses/ponies or on palanquins (palkies or dolies).

It is an enchanting journey of the places where Mata (mother/goddess) Vaishnavi had spent some time in an attempt to evade a tantric Bhairavnath who was pestering her to marry him. It was at the mouth of the cave that the goddess finally beheaded him. She herself gave up her human form and is now symbolized as the 3 pindies (stone structure) inside the cave.
By evening you reach the cave and do the darshans. Take some rest and then return back to Katra.  

DAY 10 - Katra > Jammu (50 km/1.5hrs)
Day to Relax: By this morning or afternoon you reach Katra. Drive to Jammu. Whole day is free for you to stretch your legs and relax.

DAY 11 - Jammu
The Tour Ends: Day at your own  till drop at  Jammu airport to board flight for your onwards journey.
