Itinerary
Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand is one of the holiest pilgrimages in India, covering the sacred shrines of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Nestled in the Himalayas, each temple holds deep spiritual significance – from the origins of the holy rivers Yamuna and Ganga to the divine abode of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. This journey is believed to wash away sins, bring inner peace, and guide devotees towards moksha, while also offering breathtaking views of snow-clad peaks, rivers, and valleys.

Day 1 – Delhi > Haridwar (210 km / 5 hrs)
Abode of the Gods: Haridwar
Drive from Delhi to Haridwar with lunch en route. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Spend the evening attending the famous Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, immersing yourself in the spiritual aura of the holy city.
Overnight at Haridwar
Day 2 – Haridwar > Barkot (175 km / 7 hrs)
Nature’s Splendor: Barkot
After breakfast, journey to Barkot, a picturesque locale surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Enjoy lunch en route and take in stunning views of the eternal snow peaks of Bandar Punch. Overnight camping at Barkot.
Day 3 – Barkot > Yamunotri > Barkot
Source of the Yamuna River
After an early breakfast, proceed to Hanumanchatti via Syanachatti. Take a local taxi to Jankichatti, then trek 6 km to the sacred Yamunotri temple by the riverbank. Participate in rituals like holy dips in the hot springs and cooking rice in the spring waters. Return to Barkot for an overnight camp stay.
Day 4 – Barkot > Harsil (174 km / 7 hrs)
Heavenly Harsil Valley
Travel to Harsil, one of the most beautiful valleys, stopping at Gangnani to enjoy a holy dip in natural hot springs. Overnight camping in Harsil.
Day 5 – Harsil > Gangotri > Uttarkashi (110 km)
Source of the Holy Ganges: Gangotri
Visit Gangotri, the sacred origin of the Ganges (Bhagirathi) river. Take a holy dip, perform pooja, and soak in the serene surroundings. Return to Harsil for lunch, then proceed to Uttarkashi for an overnight camp stay.
Day 6 – Uttarkashi > Guptakashi (283 km / 9 hrs)
Serene and Tranquil Guptakashi
After an early breakfast, drive to Guptakashi, a peaceful town nestled in the Himalayas. Overnight camping at Guptakashi.
Day 7 – Guptakashi > Kedarnath
Seat of Lord Shiva: Kedarnath
Drive to Gaurikund, take a holy dip at Taptakund, and trek 14 km to Kedarnath Temple — one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and a significant Hindu pilgrimage site. Evening visit and overnight stay at Kedarnath.
Day 8 – Kedarnath > Guptakashi
Mystic Charm of Guptakashi
Return trek and drive to Guptakashi with a stopover at Taptakund for a holy dip. Overnight camping at Guptakashi.
Day 9 – Guptakashi > Joshimath via Chopta (175 km / 6-7 hrs)
Scenic Drive to Joshimath
Enjoy a scenic drive through medicinal forests to Joshimath, base for the famous Valley of Flowers trek. Evening free to explore this beautiful town. Overnight camping at Joshimath.
Day 10 – Joshimath > Badrinath > Joshimath (45 km one way / 2 hrs)
Seat of Lord Vishnu: Badrinath
Drive to Badrinath for a holy darshan and visit Mana Village nearby. Return to Joshimath for an overnight camp stay.
Day 11 – Joshimath > Haridwar (274 km / 9-10 hrs)
Return Journey to Haridwar
After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at Haridwar.
Day 12 – Haridwar > Delhi (210 km / 5 hrs)
Tour Ends in Delhi
